Anime Club Halloween Party!

Saturday, October 29, 4-11 pm

After-hours Halloween party for the Teen Anime Club!  Teens grades 9-12 need to be in the building by closing time at 5 pm, then stay until 11 pm to celebrate Halloween! Party games, improv comedy and pumpkin carving all night! Costumes are welcome, and highly encouraged!

Tales from the Beyond

Thursday, October 20, 7-8 pm. Harnish Meeting Room. Open to grades 7-12.

Inviting all fans of the paranormal!  Anyone looking to be scared this Halloween is invited to join us @ AAPLD for a spook-filled evening of Tales from the Beyond!

Michael Kett presents chilling tales in the likes of Hitchcock, the X-files, Edgar Allen Poe and Ripley's Believe-It-Or-Not. Hear true stories from the Lizzie Bordon Axe Murders to Naperville's most famous ghost and handle real artifacts like a monkey's paw and a Jivaro shrunken head. Prepare to be creeped and amazed!

After Hours Study Night

Wednesday, October 12, 4:00--11:00 pm

Come study for finals with us @ AAPLD!  The Library will be open late but ONLY for Teens! Students grades 9-12 are invited to burn the midnight oil--take advantage of computers, printers, private study rooms, and of course, refreshments.  Come to the library before the doors close at 9:00 pm to get in some late night cramming until 11:00 pm at the library!  Only @ AAPLD.
